RJA#7

  • Google.com search is the main search engine i use to conduct internet research. The different types of searching within google are helpful for narrowing down research topics. I frequently use the advance search option to reduce the many search related results. I will also use wikipedia.com to search a relevant topic and review the sources used to create the entry. This helps find sites dedicated to individual topics about an entry. This also requires research on the creditability of a website.

  • Some questions may include:
    1. Should professional athletes get special sentencing due to their status?
    2. Should professional athletes crimes be made public?
    3. Did Donte' Stallworth get off too easy for DUI manslaughter?
    4. Are professional athletes overpaid?
    5. Should professional athletes be allowed to carry weapons or have bodyguards to protect them while out in public?
    6. Was Plaxico Burress' maximum sentence too harsh? Did the case provide awareness to the general public on punishments for gun control?
    7. Should Michael Vick be allowed to comeback to the NFL?
    8. Should professional leagues be more selective on guidelines to play in the league?
